[Hiring] Accounts Payable Coordinator @Elevation Cycles

Role Description

We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to assist with daily accounts payable processes in a 100% remote role. The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Preparing invoices
• Maintaining vendor files
• Creating payment batches
• Reconciling accounts
• Ensuring all financial procedures are performed accurately and in a timely way

We are looking for someone who has proven success managing a wide variety of responsibilities with a high degree of organization and dependability.

Responsibilities: Main tasks

• Process vendor invoices in a timely and correct fashion
• Match purchase orders, invoices and backup documentation
• Process payment batches electronically
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow-up on inconsistencies
• Retain appropriate vendor and other documentation
• Address vendor payment inquiries professionally
• Watch for delinquent invoices and when they are due
• Accounts Payable Month end closing responsibilities
• Handle your money digitally
• Collaborate with finance and operations to guarantee the accuracy of transactions
• Maintain financial information according to business policy and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable, bookkeeping or accounting assistance will be a plus
• Excellent organization and detail-oriented
• Ability to work to deadlines and multitask
• Familiarity with spreadsheet and bookkeeping software
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Skills to work autonomously from a remote location
• Processed financial data with a high degree of purity and prudence

Requirements

• Experience with accounting systems or ERP
• Knowledge of invoice matching and reconciliation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Digital document management expertise
