Role Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

You'll keep supplier payments accurate and on time for a UK finance team, processing invoices and reconciling accounts each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and on schedule
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile supplier statements against the ledger
• Prepare payment runs for approval
• Respond to supplier queries about payment status

Qualifications

• Experience with Sage or Xero
• Experience processing invoices in an accounts payable role
• Strong attention to detail with numbers
• Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work
• Comfort reconciling accounts against supplier statements

Requirements

• Experience with multi-currency invoicing (nice to have)
• Familiarity with purchase order systems (nice to have)
• Prior remote finance support experience (nice to have)
