[Hiring] Accounting Sr. Specialist - Contracts Accounting @NTT DATA Services

Role Description

We are currently seeking an Accounting Sr. Specialist - Contracts Accounting to join our team in Fully remote, Malaysia, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).

• Individuals have a deep understanding of their own area and some understanding of related subject areas.
• Manage critical projects or larger customer contracts with general direction and may allocate some work to others.
• Recommend department process improvements.
• Participate in department projects (strategic, tactical and control) where strong analytical skill is required.
• Assist internal and/or external audit process as required.
• Develop or recommend accounting methods and procedures.
• Work on critical client accounts and collection issues.
• Address escalated outstanding account balances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification.
• Minimum working experience of 4+ years, preferably in an accounting firm and/or MNC.
• Excellent communication skills & proficient in English.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). SAP user knowledge is an added advantage.
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Results oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
