Role Description

The Specialist, Accounting is responsible for executing core accounting operations, supporting statutory and operational financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role handles day-to-day accounting tasks including:

• Journal entries
• Reconciliations
• Financial analysis
• Audit support

The Specialist collaborates across finance and operational teams to maintain accurate records, supports month-end and year-end close, and contributes to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance/accounting or related field preferred.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in general accounting, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Exposure to preparing routine financial reports and supporting statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with internal controls, audit support, and accounting documentation.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and general ledger operations.
• Hands-on experience in preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate discrepancies and variances.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the accounting team.
• Good organizational, planning, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to high ethical and professional standards.

Benefits

• Base salary for this position is: $99,000.00 - $129,800.00
• All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
