Role Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations across our group entities. This is a great opportunity to grow with our startup and take ownership of core finance processes from the ground up.

Areas of Responsibility

• Bookkeeping & Financial Records
• Invoicing & Subscription Management
• Xero-Based Accounting
• AI-Enabled Finance Workflows
• Maintain accurate books of accounts (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries)
• Reconcile bank statements and company expenses on a monthly basis
• Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support VAT filing and compliance requirements under UAE regulations
• Track vendor invoices and contractor payments
• Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
• Support the founder with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Comfortable working with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and basic bookkeeping principles is a plus
• Fluent in English
