Role Description

To maintain accurate financial records, prepare monthly financial statements and participate in special projects.

In this Accountant I role, you will:

• Account for cash through cash deposits, cash applications, collection and cash forecasting.
• Process payment and void requests.
• Respond to inquiries about payments.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and supporting month-end close processes.
• Evaluate variances, account balances, etc.
• Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years' experience in accounting, preferably in health care industry.
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work remotely from home anywhere within the continental United States, with a preference for St. Louis, MO.
