Role Description
The Accountant, Cash and Accounts Receivable Valuation will report directly to the Cash and Accounts Receivable Valuation Manager. This position requires the ability to analyze multiple aspects of:

Restricted cash and net position
-
Restricted and unrestricted investments
-
Net asset reconciliation
-
Reconciliation of other ancillary accounts associated with patient AR
Tasks include:
-
Review of transactions in unapplied accounts
-
Suspense
-
Returned checks
-
Grant payments on a monthly and annual basis
Qualifications
-
Bachelorโs degree in a business-related field
-
Zero (0) โ two (2) years work experience in a business-related field such as accounting, business, audit or finance
-
Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
-
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Outlook software
-
Microsoft Power Point and Adobe Acrobat software is a plus
-
Preferred: A bachelorโs degree in accounting with hospital/healthcare based work experience
-
MBA, MHA, CHFP, or CPA designation a plus
