[Hiring] Accountant & Bookkeeper @Uvation

Role Description

We are looking to hire a skilled Accountant & Bookkeeper to manage our company's day-to-day financial operations. As part of the Uvation finance team, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling bank statements
• Preparing reports
• Ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations

You will be working closely with our leadership team to provide financial insights, assist in budgeting, and support decision-making processes. Ultimately, a top-level Accountant & Bookkeeper will ensure that our company's finances run smoothly and transparently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred
• Proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite and/or QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools

Requirements

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, bank accounts, and credit card transactions
• Post and review general ledger entries; ensure accuracy of financial data
• Maintain accounting records in line with U.S. GAAP and company policies
• Lead transition to NetSuite, including data migration and COA design
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support tax filings and liaise with CPAs, auditors, and consultants
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Track cash flow, burn rate, and report KPIs to management
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Establish consistent practices for multi-entity and global operations
• Maintain clean audit trails for internal and external audits
• Collaborate with CFO, founders, and cross-border accounting teams
