[Hiring] Accountant @Peak Credit Union

Role Description

Performs a wide variety of accounting work and support functions related to the maintenance of financial records, preparation of financial reports, and assists in ensuring accuracy in the credit union’s accounting processes. Supports the Accounting department in carrying out complex tasks, including but not limited to:

• GL maintenance
• Reconciliation
• Ad hoc financial and management reporting
• Accounts Payable
• Fixed Assets
• Prepaid Expenses

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience in a financial institution.

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel formulas and functions such as pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of intermediate GAAP accounting principles.
• Ability to collaborate with branches and departments.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintains advanced knowledge of various credit union systems and applications.
