Role Description

An independently owned VIRTUAL Accounting and Auditing firm who specializes in non-listed owner-managed and family business is looking to employ an experienced Remote Accountant. This is a great long-term opportunity for someone with a passion for accounting and auditing and wants to remain in the profession. Must have unendorsed driver’s licence and own transport.

• Accurate processing of financial transactions to Balance sheet.
• Reconciliations of control accounts, Customers and Suppliers.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Maintain excellent client relationships.
• Taxation and compliance.
• Skilfully reviewing and drafting financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Preparation of client reports (AFS, Minutes, Certificates, Management letters, etc.).
• Must be able to communicate directly with clients in a professional and confident manner.
• Must meet deadlines.
• Provide technical assistance to staff members (where required).

Qualifications

• SAIPA / ICB / SAIT BCom degree in Accounting - NON NEGOTIABLE.
• Completed articles - NON NEGOTIABLE.
• 2 years post articles will be an advantage.
• Be able to deal with a wide array of clientele.

Requirements

• Simplepay - Certification preferred.
• Xero - Certification preferred.
• MS Office.
• Good computer skills as this is an online business model.
• Paster Partner / Sage One.

• Good time management, problem solving and delegation skills.

Benefits

• SALARY IS NOT NEGOTIABLE.
• R25 000 for the first 3 months, then increased based on experience.
• Commission earned on clients billed.
• MUST have a fully setup home office with stable wifi.
