Role Description

We are a property management company looking to bring on another remote team member to support our accounting and administrative operations. This role is primarily focused on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting work — with approximately one-third of the time dedicated to property management administrative tasks.

Here is how we think about this hire: we are not looking for a resume. We are looking for a person. We hire the same way across our team — remote or in-office — and the standard is intelligence, energy, and the ability to learn fast. Most people who join us start with the basics: processing invoices and general admin. That is the entry point, not the ceiling. If you pick it up quickly and can handle more complex work, we move you up and bring someone new in to cover the basics.

Qualifications

• Intelligence and high energy — this is the baseline for everyone we hire, remote or otherwise
• A genuine ability and willingness to learn — you pick things up quickly, ask good questions, and apply feedback immediately
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal — you are clear, professional, and responsive
• Detail orientation and accuracy — invoice processing and accounting work require getting it right every time
• Willingness to start with the basics and earn your way into more complex responsibilities
• Self-directed and reliable in a remote environment — you manage your own workload without needing constant oversight

Requirements

Every new team member starts here. This is the foundation, and we take it seriously.

• Process vendor and contractor invoices accurately and in a timely manner — this is the primary entry-point task
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly
• Support general accounting data entry and file maintenance
• Handle property management administrative tasks — approximately one-third of your time — including document management, communication support, and operational coordination
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members and external vendors or tenants as needed

Company Description

• Some accounting or administrative experience — a great foundation that will shorten your ramp-up time
• Experienced candidates with AP/AR, property management, or accounting backgrounds — welcome and will be compensated accordingly, provided you are willing to start with foundational tasks and grow from there
• Property management experience is a meaningful plus — familiarity with vendor management, tenant communication, or property accounting will help you contribute more quickly
