Role Description
We are looking for an Accountant who is detail-oriented, highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-moving remote-first environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will support finance operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions, helping ensure accurate bookkeeping, reporting, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping across both traditional and digital asset environments.

Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Support vendor onboarding and maintain vendor payment records

Prepare and process payments in accordance with company policies and approval workflows

Perform bank, wallet, and account reconciliations

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

Support preparation of management reports and financial statements

Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and service providers

Maintain supporting documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls

Assist with multi-currency transactions and crypto-fiat payment operations

Support treasury and cash management activities

Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and maintained in a timely manner
Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field

Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals including debits, credits, journals and general ledger accounting

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting practices

Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, FreshBooks or similar systems

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, reconciliations and financial data management

Comfortable working with digital tools and modern finance technology

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Comfortable collaborating with a distributed international team in an asynchronous environment

Proficiency with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Meet and Google Drive

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines with minimal supervision

High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information

Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced environment
Requirements

Experience working with multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction business structures

Exposure to Web3, digital assets, cryptocurrency transactions or blockchain-related businesses

Experience supporting audits and compliance processes

Professional accounting certifications or ongoing studies (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) are a plus
