Role Description

Under general supervision of the Cash Manager (State Investment Officer, PCN 045013), this position:

Administers the Stateβs credit card acceptance contract.

Assists departments with implementing new card-present, ecommerce, e-billing, and other card acceptance methods.

Coordinates statewide Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI) compliance.

Works with departments to ensure inventories of people and hardware involved in card processing are accurate.

Collaborates with a Qualified Security Assessor and departments to complete an annual PCI assessment.
-
Coordinates completion of required annual PCI training.
-
Serves as the primary system administrator and backup operator for the Stateβs Treasury Management System.

Takes on various additional projects as needed.

Must be able to serve as backup for all positions within Cash Management.

Supervises an Acct II/Acct III flex position.

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in:

Analysis and Assessment: Uses information technology in accessing, collecting, analyzing, maintaining, and disseminating data and information.

Financial Analysis: Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling.

Principles of Accounting: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, standards, and practices.

Reasoning: Identifies rules, principles, or relationships that explain facts, data, or other information.

Technical Competence: Uses knowledge acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience.
