Role Description
This role involves working as a Staff Accountant at Fine Point Consulting, responsible for a multitude of accounting activities.
- Process client invoices and post customer payments
- Sales tax exemption certificate administration
- Preparation of sales tax returns
- Process vendor bills and download/code credit card transactions
- New vendor setup, W9 administration, and 1099 preparation
- In-house payroll and payroll tax processing
- New hire setup and coordination with client payroll providers
- Recording of payroll-related transactions
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Produce financial statements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Strong technology skills using Microsoft Office, particularly adept with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working in a paperless environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Team player with a positive, "can do" approach
- Prior experience with QuickBooks Online
- Excited to learn about and utilize new technology
Requirements
- Starting Salary range is $45,000-$50,000 annually
- Salary requirements are required for consideration of this position
