Role Description
This role involves taking ownership of complex revenue streams, driving automation initiatives, and playing a crucial role in financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Develop and maintain automated revenue recognition processes, reducing manual workload.
- Work with large datasets to enhance financial reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and IT teams to optimise workflows and improve data quality.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and precise revenue reporting.
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant: ACCA, ACA finalist or qualified (or equivalent).
- Industry Experience: 4+ years in revenue accounting, ideally in SaaS, subscription, or tech.
- Technical Expertise: Strong IFRS 15 knowledge, experience handling multi-entity revenue streams.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with SalesForce, automation tools, and finance systems (Xero, NetSuite, SAP).
- Data-Driven: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, or finance automation tools.
Requirements
- Experience automating revenue recognition (Salesforce, Power BI, Alteryx).
- Background in fast-growing tech or SaaS businesses.
- Strong analytical skills to provide strategic financial insights.
