Role Description
We’re looking for a Privacy Intern for our Privacy Legal team, reporting to the Senior Privacy Counsel. Our Privacy team is based in the United States, dealing with ensuring compliance with global privacy and data protections laws. As a Privacy Intern, you will contribute directly to the privacy team, gaining hands-on skills in:
- Data protection impact assessments
- Developing targeted privacy training
- Crafting essential company policies
You'll deepen your knowledge of global privacy and AI laws and regulations, learn to conduct thorough risk assessments and understand the complexities of implementing corporate compliance strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills, with an ability to synthesize legal and compliance topics
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in privacy and AI laws and regulations, such as the GDPR, CCPA and EU AI Act
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- This is a 10-week paid internship starting on June 4th and ending on August 8th, working up to 35 hours per week
- Hourly pay for this role is $20/hr
