Role Description
The Media Billing Specialist manages and processes media invoices, ensuring accurate billing and financial record-keeping. This role involves:
- Processing and reviewing media invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contracts.
- Reconciling media buys with invoices to verify that media purchases align with invoiced amounts.
- Communicating with stakeholders, including vendors, agencies, and internal teams, to resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Maintaining detailed and organized financial records of media expenditures and payments for auditing and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years in billing, finance, or media accounting, preferably within media agencies or marketing firms.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Mediaocean, or Strata.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to manage multiple billing cycles under tight deadlines.
