Role Description
Culligan Quench is seeking a Legal Intern for our 2025 Summer Internship Program. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic in-house legal department.
As a Legal Intern, you’ll work directly with our Senior Corporate Counsel on meaningful projects that impact real business decisions across our growing organization. This role is ideal for a law student interested in corporate law, compliance, commercial contracts, employment law, and general in-house legal operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the review, drafting, and editing of contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and service contracts
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings related to regulatory, employment, and corporate matters
- Support the legal team on compliance initiatives and internal policy development
- Participate in cross-functional meetings with stakeholders from HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations
- Help maintain legal documentation, contract management systems, and databases
- Assist with the preparation of materials for training, audits, and other internal legal reviews
- Observe and learn from real-time legal strategy discussions and decision-making
Qualifications
- A current JD candidate or graduate law student, in good standing at an accredited law school
- Interested in corporate/in-house legal practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Requirements
- Current graduate-level law student (JD or equivalent), enrolled in an accredited law school
