Role Description
This role involves providing employment law assistance and compliance, as well as contributing to in-house development.
- Work closely with customer success team to provide daily advice on employment laws and regulations.
- Draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks, and other compliance documents.

Provide counsel to local management and the Human Resources team on various employment issues, including:
- Recruiting and hiring
- Employee relations
- Discipline and terminations
- European working time compliance (including shift working, overtime)
- Internal investigations
- Leaves of absence
- Discrimination and harassment issues
- Contingent worker issues
- Compensation, benefits, bonus, and equity awards
- Employment litigation
- Negotiated exits and settlements
- Contribute to developing and implementing processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding contract negotiation and processes.
- Help develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and guidelines.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential).
- Specialist knowledge of Spanish employment law.
- Fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan.
- Proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Your CV must be submitted in English.
Requirements
