Role Description
This internship is a remote position; however, you will be expected to work at our Corporate Office, headquartered in Melville, NY on Tuesdays through the duration of the internship. This internship is 20-25 hours/week and is responsible for performing a variety of tax tasks/projects that address the needs of the Tax department.
- Conducting research
- Working with leadership to coordinate efforts and resolve issues
- Prioritizing work assignments and acting as a liaison with other departments
- Participating in special projects and performing other duties as required
Qualifications
- Finance, Tax or Accounting background and/or course work
Requirements
- Good time management
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to plan and arrange activities
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Good verbal and written skills
- Ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
Benefits
- The posted hourly rate for this internship position is based on both your education and location:
- Candidates possessing up to and including a high school diploma can receive either $15 or $16/hr depending on location
- Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent can receive either $18 or $20/hr depending on location
- Candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and currently pursuing an advanced, post-graduate degree can receive either $22 or $24/hr depending on location
