Role Description

We’re adding a Global Revenue Reporting Manager to our growing team! Reporting to the Global Revenue Accounting Senior Manager, the Global Revenue Reporting Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and creating a new reporting framework.
  • Maintaining underlying data quality within our systems.
  • Assisting with contract entry and review.
  • General improvements as we continue to grow and scale.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Build and develop a new reporting framework, combining data from multiple sources for reports on Revenue, Deferred, Unbilled, RPO, rollforwards, and more.
  • Review standard and non-standard deals to determine appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP.
  • Perform control processes and analysis to detect, investigate, and resolve any unusual activity within the GL accounts and our automated billing and revenue system in NetSuite (Zone Advanced Billing).
  • Own the deferred and unbilled schedules, including monthly account reconciliations and analytics.
  • Own the periodic SSP analysis and support the Technical Accounting and Financial Systems teams on changes to our SSP policy.
  • Oversee the license fulfillment validation process to ensure appropriate revenue recognition.
  • Lead improvement of current processes to drive greater automation and stronger controls.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including Technical Accounting, AR, Tax, Deal Desk, Legal, and Professional Services.
  • Participate in the preparation of accounting memos, including accounting research for significant and unusual contracts.
  • Support all revenue-related external audit requests.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on revenue recognition/ASC 606.
  • Experience within the software industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with coding, specifically SQL, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite accounting system, Salesforce CRM, and Zone Advanced billing is a plus.
  • This is a US-based remote position. Candidates based in the Eastern and Central time zones preferred.

  • Eligible roles may also receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.
