Role Description
This is a temporary contract position for 3 - 6 months, with possibility to extend.
The role has responsibility to create financial business and operations planning models across Bridge Carbon entities, translating operational data into comprehensive financial reports and models to support our investment strategies. The position will report to the Divisional Head of Finance who is based in London.
- Develop and maintain financial models to translate operational data into financial forecasts, budgets, trackers, and investment models.
- Work closely with management to support financial strategies and company position opportunities.
- Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective tracking of the company’s finances.
- Develop modelling for investments and funding, connecting requests and actual spend.
- Work closely with in-country operations, rolling out models and supporting tracking of actuals against funds requests and connecting budget and plans.
- Assist in building of short-term operational budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budget forecasts, and financial models to senior management.
- Analyse financial needs and goals of the company, construction and maintenance of long-term business plan and budgets models.
- Mitigate financial risks by implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic developments, and changes in financial regulations.
- Collect, organize and analyse large datasets from various sources to extract meaningful insights.
- Reconcile country data with central accounting system.
- Create dashboards and visual representations of data to facilitate review, understanding and decision-making.
- Support data migration and deployment of the ERP across operational entities.
- Support the group finance team with ad hoc queries.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- University degree in finance, economics, data science, accounting or relevant field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Qualified financial certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, analyzing and developing corporate and operations financial plans and projections.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power Bi), financial modelling and reporting tools.
- Good understanding of business, financial regulations, international entity, and investment finance.
- Understanding of financial and accounting standards and consolidations.
- Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Location
This is a remote position. Candidate must be based in the UK. Bridge Carbon has offices in London.
