Role Description
We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to enable Rula’s Accounting teams through accounting excellence, innovation through technology, and improving accounting processes. This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to apply that business knowledge to the accounting department.
- Deliver results and be a key driver in helping scale the accounting department
- Report to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Accounting
- Be a key player in the Corporate Accounting team
- Have responsibility for a diverse range of accounting, finance, and compliance duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification required
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with the ability to guide and mentor team members to ensure accurate accounting operations
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Accounting
- Experience collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
- Experience participating in at least one financial statement audit cycle in an industry setting
Requirements
- Experience in healthcare or start-up environments
- Strong passion for problem-solving and process improvement
- Ability to represent the Accounting Team and clearly communicate the rationale behind accounting practices
- Experience in public accounting
