Role Description
This role can either be based in our New York, New York headquarters or remote in the USA, with a preference for the east coast. The Contracts Manager is primarily responsible for independently reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts (with a heavy emphasis on revenue-generating contracts with our customers) while also managing and coordinating the full contracts cycle from initial request and review through drafting, negotiation, execution, and archiving.
- Partner with all levels and functions of the business, including Sales, Marketing, Information Security, Product, and Content.

Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating software and technology subscription agreements.
- Ability to manage a high volume of contracts.
- Superior business acumen with an unrivaled commitment and deep-seated need to provide responsive client service.
- Energetic, authentic, and friendly with a great sense of humor.
- Effective communicator with the ability to interact with both internal and external professionals of all types and backgrounds.
- Proficient with contracts management software (Ironclad preferred).
- Experience with information security, data privacy, intellectual property, and/or financial services a plus.
Requirements
- Draft and review the company’s contracts and provide general transactional support across the organization with a heavy emphasis on sales.
- Maintain an organized contracts repository to help the Legal Department operate efficiently.
- Manage e-signature process for the contracts team.
- Establish the proper processes and procedures to ensure contracts are always provided prompt attention.
- Create tracking mechanism and prepare documentation, reports to support contract management activities.
- Assist with other contracts projects, including contract process and management efficiencies, improvements, innovation, and training.
