As part of continuous growth, we’re expanding our portfolio of Enercon turbines throughout Wales. This means we are looking for a skilled Enercon Wind Turbine Technician who is passionate about keeping things spinning smoothly. If you’ve got a knack for troubleshooting and love the challenge of working with Enercon turbines, this might be the perfect role for you! You will also be given the opportunity to learn new skills and work on other technologies as our portfolio grows.

This role will be based in South Wales. (Travel required).

What You’ll Be Whirling Through

• Mentor and train others, helping new technicians hit the ground running on site while providing hands-on support whenever it’s needed.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  • Keep Enercon turbines in top shape through scheduled maintenance and unexpected call-outs.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and replace components when needed.
  • Log every detail, keeping service reports and turbine performance records up to date.
  • Ensure every task meets industry safety standards.
• Keeping our customers in the loop:
  • Act as the point of contact for customers on-site, keeping them informed and reassured throughout the maintenance process.
• Safety & Quality: Your North Star:
  • Stick to safety protocols, spotting potential hazards and addressing them before they become an issue.
  • Ensure every component of the wind turbine meets high standards for quality and reliability.
• Catch The Breeze Of Improvement:
  • Work with engineering and operational teams to boost turbine performance and efficiency.
  • Use error and gap analysis, response times, and operational data to keep things running smoothly.
  • Occasionally work with the control room, remotely monitoring turbines globally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working with Enercon turbines or similar models (CT or AT).
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Comfortable working in challenging conditions like heights and varying weather.
• A valid driver’s license.
• A deep understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
