Role Description

iQuasar LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer. One of our client’s needs a Telecommunications Engineer and the position is remote.

• Salary: Above $60k/year

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; must be clearable to pass a DHS Background Investigation (T6 / High Risk Public Trust).
• Proven experience administering, programming, and troubleshooting Avaya hardware, IP Office / Aura / Communication Manager, and associated voice applications.
• Experience remotely configuring and preparing phone systems prior to on-site hardware rollouts.
• Solid understanding of physical cabling/jacks, IP addressing, networking ports/port security, and LAN/WAN fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for federal customer support.

Requirements

• Experience with Avaya CORE programming, system setups, or PBX consolidations.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
