You Are an experienced professional at the intersection of defense engineering and commercial software, understanding the complexities of defense programs, including:

• Navigating acquisition cycles and mission priorities
• Building trust through technical conversations
• Translating between systems engineers and C-level executives
• Mapping ecosystems and moving with purpose
• Orchestrating resources across global teams

At Synopsys, you will work with the Sweden defense ecosystem and help shape how mission-critical engineering gets done.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Build and maintain strategic relationships across Sweden's defense ecosystem, including prime contractors, tier suppliers, and government stakeholders.
• Develop account-specific and ecosystem-wide technical strategies aligned with defense program requirements, acquisition phases, and customer mission priorities.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Account Manager to identify growth opportunities and coordinate resources across presales, technical support, consulting, training, and product teams globally.
• Shape technical requirements early in defense program lifecycles.
• Lead opportunity qualification and drive technical campaigns for complex engagements.
• Review technical support activities with local support managers.
• Support and lead account-based marketing strategies that drive technology adoption.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of professional experience, or MS with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Demonstrated experience using engineering solutions or deep knowledge of commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM software packages.
• Strong understanding of System Engineering, Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), and mission engineering analysis.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time.
• Proven ability to foster collaboration and coordinate with teams distributed across multiple global sites.
• Experience in project engineering, systems engineering, application engineering, or consulting services is a plus.
