[Hiring] Substation Erector @Stefanutti Stocks

Role Description

Stefanutti Stocks Inland is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Substation Erector (Electrical) to perform the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of transmission and distribution electrical substations. The successful candidate will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable health, safety, and industry regulations.

• Rendering the skilful and quality assembly, installation, adjustment, and repair of Transmission and Distribution Electrical Substation works and related functions in compliance with Health and Safety and related legislation.
• Maintain and improve the standard of installation structures and maintenance as dictated by project specification, with the minimum requirement of remedial action.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and relevant legislation and apply Health and Safety to the work area.
• Support and ensure compliance with Environmental management.
• Broad technical knowledge with problem-solving identification abilities.
• Continuously participate in the improvement of applied execution methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Preferably but not Essential: Grade 12
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Working at Heights and Rescue
  • First Aid course Level 1 & 2
  • Fire Fighting
  • Pole Climbing
  • Stringing Equipment Operating
  • Hydraulic Crimping
  • Manlift operator
  • Rigging course
  • Brazing
• Minimum Work Experience: At least 2 years’ experience
