Role Description

The position involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating server hardware and application software installations and upgrades. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring adherence to change management processes and suggesting improvements.
• Installing and supporting virtualization solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintaining understanding of technology stack components for troubleshooting integration conflicts.
• Assisting with workstation and server administration procedures.
• Implementing backup and recovery procedures for data/media recoverability.
• Following quality assurance processes for system operation and performance.
• Creating tasks, work estimates, and monitoring resources.
• Acting as an escalation point with vendors and staff for application software and hardware changes.
• Performing root-cause analysis and solving software and hardware problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in Platforms, Network Communications, and Project Management.
• Preferred remote locations in IL, WI, NC, GA.
• Fully remote role available from various states.

Requirements

• Experience in using backup tools, storage systems, and network management systems.
• Knowledge of operating systems and vendor-specific environments.
• Understanding of systems administration and inter-relationships between application code and server operating systems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong problem and issue resolution skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and set appropriate priorities.
