Role Description

For one of our clients in the energy industry, we are looking for a Solar Farm Commissioning Specialist.

Project name: Renewables 2026 Execution Portfolio (Tamworth, Totmanslow, Tet, Wilhelmshaven)

Project description: The aim of the project Renewables 2026 Execution Portfolio is to support the execution and commissioning of solar power plants in the UK, Poland, Hungary, and Germany.

Tasks:

• Technical consultancy and monitoring regarding commissioning activities across multiple solar farm sites, including checking compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Documentation of the results including technical input to optimize the commissioning phase and presentation to client for further use.
• Development, production, and maintenance of all commissioning documentation, including detailed commissioning programmes and test procedures.
• Facilitation of a seamless transition from the construction phase to operations and maintenance (O&M), with the aim of supporting operational readiness and system verification.
• Provision of professional consultation for contract negotiations, including technical schedules, for new tenders and future project phases.
• Technical consultation and support during the commissioning process, from initial preparations through to handover documentation for the operations team.
