[Hiring] Senior Service Engineer - Digital Implementation Services @GE Vernova

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join our dynamic team and leverage your Aero and Thermal expertise to configure and deploy digital twin software products for power generation. In this role, you will implement new, commercially reusable analytics solutions for production systems, either on-premises or in the cloud, to gather valuable insights from customer assets and provide expert operational advice. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing in-depth data analysis using a variety of data sources.
• Utilizing a standard suite of platforms, modules, and algorithms.
• Developing code components, configurations, and digital twin solutions tailored for power plants.
• Bringing your Gas Turbine Combustion Engineering and Thermal Performance expertise to drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for project implementations.
• Engaging in activities aimed at better understanding and meeting customer expectations.
• Responsible for departmental operations planning and execution.
• Focusing on the execution of professional activities within a technical discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a related engineering or technical role, with a focus on power generation, gas turbine combustion, or thermal performance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python programming and data science techniques.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and first principle models.
• Strong background in modeling and process control.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Experience in handling large datasets, ensuring data consistency, and merging data sources.
• Deep understanding of gas turbine combustion and thermal performance.
• Knowledge of best practices in power generation and relevant markets.
• Awareness of competitive landscape and differentiating factors in the market.
