[Hiring] Senior Process Technology Engineer @Solenis

Role Description

• Perform Risk Assessments for CapEx Projects and targeted processes. (25% of time spent)
• Develop standards and procedures to support the Corporate and Engineering Process Safety Road Map. (40% of time spent)
• Provide Process Safety technical support to CapEx Project teams. (10% of time spent)
• Conduct Process Safety audits with EHS. (10% of time spent)
• Provide training to CapEx teams. (5% of time spent)
• Maintain and upgrade ARA software for Hazard Review. (10% of time spent)

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in technical field, preferably Chemical Engineering
• 10 years minimum Process Safety experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes & plant operations, fundamental engineering & chemistry principles, EHS standards, business & financial principles
• TUV Functional Safety Certification would be a value add

Requirements

• 20-35% typical travel requirement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fundamental understanding of engineering and chemistry principles; technical resource for plants
• Data analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving and statistics, ability to reach conclusions
• Strong leadership skills; ability to build consensus and influence others; results oriented
