[Hiring] Senior Execution Engineer @Whitefox

Role Description

The Senior Execution Engineer is Whitefox's technical authority for each project, from FEL1 through commissioning and the O&M contract, owning the quality of engineering delivered by an execution partner, the technical relationship with that partner, and the client's technical counterpart role for the Whitefox system.

• Influence rather than control; work done by people who do not report to this role.
• Drive technical conversation on solution development, systems design, and deliverable review.
• Post-commissioning, drive installed systems to levels of benefit and performance offered.
• Support troubleshooting to maintain membrane lifetime and minimize downtime.
• Analyze technical impact of plant changes and make recommendations.
• Home-based in the US (Midwest preferred), dedicated to the project team (POD).
• Approximately 30% travel, predominantly domestic to client and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemical or process engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Eight or more years in process engineering on industrial plants.
• Hands-on production or accountable review of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment design, and control narratives.
• Working command of a commercial process simulator.
• Experience of commissioning and start-up on site, including troubleshooting.
• Technical depth in post-commissioning and O&M.
• Working knowledge of process safety in design.
• Experience delivering engineering through third-party EPC or engineering contractors.
• Separation or membrane process experience.
• Fluency in reading contractual performance guarantees.

Requirements

• Experience in ethanol, biofuels, distillation, or dehydration plant (desirable).
• Experience with evaporation (desirable).
• Exposure to plant control systems and programming guidelines (desirable).
• Experience writing design criteria documents or engineering standards (desirable).
• Experience mentoring or line-managing junior engineers (desirable).
