[Hiring] Senior Engineering Manager @Omada Health

Role Description

We are hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to own a significant piece of Omada's Member-facing surface. You own what gets built, in what order, and how the people building it grow.

• A squad owns problems from prototype to production, including maintenance and on-call rotation for what it ships.
• You stay technical, involved in the codebase and agent workflows, reviewing architecture and being useful in incidents.
• You partner with Product Strategists who prototype to test ideas quickly.
• You are accountable for what your squads ship and still write code.
• You have a point of view on AI-assisted development based on real team experiences.
• Your first team is your peer group, and you have a track record of addressing issues that slow down the engineering org.

What you'll be doing:

• Own delivery across your squads.
• Sprint shaping, prioritization, backlog grooming, and estimation.
• Own cycle time and improve it without compromising quality.
• Stay technical, shipping production work every sprint.
• Partner with your Product Strategist to maintain clear scope boundaries.
• Grow a manager if an EM reports to you.
• Plan the team needed for the next year.
• Set the AI standard past your own boundary.
• Take on problems that are nobody's responsibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years managing engineers directly.
• Experience developing another leader with real accountability.
• Track record of shipping mission-critical software to production.
• Experience owning prioritization and estimation for a team.
• Experience giving direct developmental feedback.
• Currently shipping or recently shipping production code in at least one layer of our stack.
• Comfort with an expert-generalist team model.
• Hands-on experience directing AI agents through real-world production changes.
• Understanding of CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and telemetry.
• Excellent written communication skills.
