[Hiring] Senior Engineering Manager @Secfix

Role Description

At Secfix, we're building security compliance systems for teams and agents to become and stay compliant with less effort. We are looking for a strong engineering manager who can still ship, owns technical decisions, sets the pace, and has product taste.

In the first 3 months, your responsibilities will include:

• Month 1: Ship a meaningful feature with AI alongside the team.
• Month 2: Find and fix inefficiencies in the feature development process.
• Month 3: Take over engineering interviews and build a hiring process.

Beyond the first 3 months, you will manage the team and own technical decisions, focusing on:

• Speed: Refine software development processes.
• Quality: Improve testing and code review processes.
• Team and hiring: Manage team structure and growth.
• AI in the craft and management: Push the use of AI in engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a software engineer, including 4+ years managing a team of 8+.
• Experience shipping AI features to production.
• Product taste: a keen sense for product quality.
• Experience with Claude Code and Cursor in real production work.
• Background as a senior or principal engineer.
• Experience building something from zero to one at a startup.
• Able to work in European timezone (CET/CEST).
