[Hiring] Senior Engineer - Energy Consulting Services @GE Vernova

Role Description

The electric grid is undergoing one of the biggest transformations in its history. Record electricity demand, new generation technologies, evolving regulations, and the rapid growth of data centers are changing how power systems are planned, built, and operated. Our team is at the center of that transformation. We partner with the GE Vernova business units, utilities, independent power producers, and developers across North America—and around the world—to solve complex technical challenges that keep power plants connected, compliant, and performing.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of a growing consulting practice, managing project portfolios, customer relationships, proposals, resource planning, and commercial performance. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and contribute technically. The pace is fast, the expectations are high, and the work is often done under tight deadlines where customers are counting on us to deliver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in power systems, power generation, or utility consulting.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience developing technical proposals and project estimates.
• Working knowledge of power system analysis and turbine/generator/power plant operations and performance.

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel 40% of the time domestically and internationally.
