[Hiring] Senior Consultant - New Gas Fired Plant Build - Electrical @ENTRUST

Role Description

Join ENTRUST’s Power Generation group as a Senior Consultant supporting new build – power plant projects (electrical focus). This role offers flexible work arrangements (remote or hybrid) across the United States and Canada, with periodic travel. It provides the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects across the power sector.

• Lead and support power plant conceptual design and capital project execution
• Serve as the project focal point for owners engineer services for power plant new build projects
• Perform electrical design, capital project oversight, and equipment selection
• Support equipment specifications, vendor oversight, and commissioning activities
• Translate project objectives into actionable plans that meet or exceed schedule and budget targets
• Prepare for and lead client meetings and technical discussions
• Provide field support (approximately 15-20%) for project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
• 8-15+ years of experience in:
• Power plant electrical design
• Power plant operations & maintenance
• Capital project management
• Demonstrated technical expertise in power plant electrical systems and preliminary design, with the ability to execute projects independently
