Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Cloud & Platform Systems Engineer with Secret security clearance eligibility to support TGS and our government customer. This is a remote opportunity.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud & Platform Systems Engineer to architect, secure, and operate mission-critical cloud infrastructure and containerized enterprise platforms. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for:

• Deploying and managing resilient Kubernetes workloads and infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Ensuring end-to-end operational readiness and high availability
• Enforcing robust system hardening and governance by authoring and implementing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Adhering strictly to Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance baselines across all environments
• Automating the packaging and delivery of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications
• Designing and integrating comprehensive observability frameworks—linking platform telemetry with SIEM solutions for robust real-time monitoring, security auditing, and rapid incident response

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Cloud & Orchestration (Kubernetes Engineer, AWS Cloud)
• Security & Governance (Group Policy & STIG compliance)
• COTS Application deployments and software delivery
• Observability & SIEM product integration

Clearance Requirement: Ability to maintain Secret Clearance.

Location: Remote. Core work hours are 9am-5pm Eastern.
