[Hiring] Senior Civil Designer (Grading & Utility) @Olsson

Role Description

Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for some of the largest and most forward-thinking and desirable companies in the world to work for. We design large hyperscale data center campuses and colocation data centers throughout the U.S. This role will give you the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex engineering-driven projects being built today. Our clients are relationship-based and truly value the work we do for them, affording us the opportunity to contribute to society’s technological and connected community through the design of the critical infrastructure that is the foundation of these projects.

As a Senior Civil Designer with a grading & utility focus, you will work in a collaborative team environment on multi-disciplinary complex projects. You will:

• Work closely with licensed engineers on plans and calculations.
• Utilize your expertise in Civil 3D and CAD software.
• Independently design utilities and surfaces with the oversight of an Engineer.
• Create accurate and efficient design solutions to develop detailed drawings and models.
• Frequently design utilizing Pipe Networks, Pressure Pipe Networks, and Surfaces containing Corridors and Feature Lines.

The scale of projects for this team starts at roughly 20 acres and is often 200+ acres for a single campus. We have several current openings and will consider candidates interested in being located out of any Olsson office location, hybrid, or fully remote in various locations of the US.   • 8 or more years of expertise in drafting and design
  • Experience in surface creation, analysis, utility design, and BIM coordination

Requirements

• The posted salary range for this position correlates with our Colorado office locations and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
• Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.
• Colorado Pay Range: $78,000 - $103,000 USD
