Job Summary: Responsible for engineering design and review of concrete formwork and shoring layouts, including custom elements tailored to complex project requirements. Support both pre-construction and active project phases, ensuring technical excellence and field feasibility.

• Develops detailed formwork and shoring drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Performs structural calculations to validate load capacities and ensure safety.
• Prepares bills of material and reviews peer designs for accuracy and optimization.
• Applies civil engineering principles to plan and lay out formwork and shoring systems based on inventory, schedule, cost, and customer requirements.
• Collaborates with construction teams to ensure effective implementation of designs.
• Provides technical input to sales and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attends customer meetings during and after the sales process to support technical discussions and design alignment.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering
• Experience Designing Bridge overhang brackets – minimum 3 years
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

Requirements

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Certification is required in some areas.
