Role Description

In the role of Projektingenieur Straßenentwurf (w/m/d), you will take responsibility for the planning of complex road and traffic facilities. Your tasks include:

• Developing road designs for new, conversion, and expansion measures, including cross-sections, junctions, and facilities for cycling, pedestrian traffic, and public transport.
• Conducting variant studies and contributing to planning concepts with a focus on safety, performance, urban space, and climate resilience.
• Coordinating interfaces with specialist planning such as drainage, media, and emissions protection, along with close collaboration in an interdisciplinary team.
• Supporting project implementation by participating in tenders and construction management.
• Applying common CAD software (BricsCAD and AutoCAD) as well as specialized software like VESTRA and NOVA AVA.
• Optionally participating in traffic and construction site management, for example, in the development of construction phase and traffic management concepts.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in civil engineering, traffic engineering, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, at least 3 years of professional experience in road design or traffic facility planning.
• Good knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as RASt, RAL, RStO, and ZTV, as well as a secure handling of HOAI and VOB.
• Experience with CAD software and ideally knowledge of AVA programs and tender processes.
• Independent and structured working style, along with enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration with clients.
• Open and motivated personality with a strong customer orientation.
• Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form (at least C1 level).
