Role Description

This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Your role and responsibilities:

• Act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.
• Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
• Showcase expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
• Utilize checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications

• Engaged in relevant tools and methodologies in the relevant industry/sector market.
• Have established skills with years of experience in the relevant field.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of specialized software/platforms.
• Passionate about relevant soft skills and relevant soft skills.
• Degree in specific degree, qualification in subject.
• At ease communicating in required language skill(s).

• Hold current required licenses valid in job location.
• Possess country-specific VISA/work permit where required.
