[Hiring] Maintenance Engineer @GE Vernova

Role Description

The Maintenance Engineer will ensure the safe, reliable and high‑performance operation of utility‑scale Battery Energy Storage Systems by delivering expert maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support across installed assets.

• Maintain and optimise GE Vernova’s advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems.
• Support customers who rely on these technologies to drive energy efficiency and decarbonisation.
• Work hands‑on with electrical systems, power‑conversion equipment and energy‑storage technologies.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose system issues, and ensure all work meets strict performance, reliability and safety standards.
• Help safeguard the long‑term health of critical assets while contributing to the transition toward cleaner, more efficient power solutions.

Qualifications

• Technically strong, safety‑driven and customer‑focused Field Service Engineer.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Capability to manage field service activities independently.
• Understanding of energy‑storage and power‑conversion technologies.
• Expertise in electrical systems and HV competencies.
• Keen interest in continuous improvement and Lean principles.
• Strong communication skills to build customer relationships.
• Organised and detail‑focused contributor.

Requirements

• Able to travel extensively to and from projects and various field assignments.
• Willing to work overtime as required by field assignments.
