Role Description

Leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing:

• Cloud computing is a model of IT deployment whereby a provider delivers an IT solution as platform virtualization (PaaS), as an application (SaaS), or infrastructure/resources (IaaS).
• Experience in system development with expertise in software, hardware, data structures, and communications technology across multiple platforms.
• Recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function.
• Manages large projects or processes with limited oversight from a manager.
• Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level professionals.
• Provides solutions to advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.
• May be the in-house expert on specific technologies or within the job function area.
• Complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts in a specialized field.
• Possess broad knowledge of the professional field and other related functions.
• Determines and develops approaches to solve functional area-related issues.
• Enhanced level understanding of the department and its role in supporting the organization.
• Seeks new ways to improve department and function within the company.
• Regularly provides insight into complex issues and complex department questions.
• Sets or participates in department goal setting.
• Regularly provides direction for junior staff members.
• Possess the strongest of skills acquired through advanced training, study, and experience.

Benefits

• Base salary range: $160,000 to $185,000.
