• Experienced in bringing up systems, tracking down issues, and diagnosing failures.

• Proactive in running diagnostics and catching issues before they become incidents.
• Capable of coordinating across time zones and documenting findings.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as the primary technical resource for hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and infrastructure stability for ZeBu emulation and HAPS prototyping systems.
• Diagnose and isolate hardware-level failures from customer design issues.
• Proactively run diagnostics, track downtime patterns, and schedule software and firmware upgrades.
• Coordinate with Synopsys hardware R&D teams to escalate complex platform issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of hardware incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
• Work remotely and travel locally to customer sites or data centers during critical escalations.
• Communicate status, timelines, and technical tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.

• Keep critical emulation and prototyping hardware online for customer chip verification schedules.
• Offload hardware troubleshooting from field application engineers.
• Catch hardware issues early through proactive diagnostics and monitoring.
• Build a knowledge base of hardware failure modes and configurations.
• Provide real-world field data back to R&D to improve platform stability.
• Reduce mean time to resolution for hardware incidents.
• Help customers trust that their hardware will be reliable and supported.

Qualifications

• Under 2 years of hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, system troubleshooting, or platform support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to isolate hardware issues.
• Comfort working with physical hardware including cabling, power systems, and firmware updates.
• Ability to coordinate across teams and document technical issues clearly.
• Willingness to work remotely with local travel during critical escalations.
• Experience with or willingness to learn ZeBu emulation and HAPS prototyping platforms.

Requirements

• Organized enough to track multiple customer systems and schedule proactive maintenance.
• Clear communication under pressure.
• Comfortable being the hardware expert in a remote setting.
• Ability to manage workload independently and flag issues early.
