Role Description

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FPGA design and development. This role requires a deep understanding of digital design principles and a proven ability to design and implement complex FPGA-based systems. This role involves a wide range of FPGA responsibilities and complete ownership of systems and projects.

• Design, develop, and test FPGA firmware for space-based and ground-based applications.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing FPGA firmware: VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, etc.
• Experience with FPGAs, SoCs, and related development tools and workflows.
• Experience integrating FPGA designs onto custom hardware.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company's immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in FPGA design, preferably in space or aerospace applications.
• Experience with Xilinx/AMD or Intel/Altera FPGA toolchains (e.g., Vivado, Quartus).
• Understanding of digital signal processing or high-speed interface protocols (e.g., SpaceWire, PCIe, Ethernet).
• Ability to learn new concepts and research.
