[Hiring] Engineering Manager @Unit4

Role Description

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering effort behind our Public Sector integration initiatives within the Source-to-Contract (S2C) area. As an Engineering Manager you can help us grow further by managing Development Teams while working together with Product Management.

• You are responsible for the product deliverables in your area, ensuring quality software is delivered in a timely manner.
• You will work closely with Product Management (PM) to create solutions that satisfy defined business/customer requirements.
• You are responsible for the career development, training, hiring, daily follow-up, and management of staff within your area/product.
• You will coach and stimulate your team members to work with scrum and make them successful in their daily work.
• Ensure engineering best practices, quality standards, security, and operational excellence.
• You are the owner of the recruitment process for your area/product and ensure that your team members receive their regular personal reviews for their development.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
• Preferred experience in managing development teams.
• Good understanding of the software engineering process, its roles and responsibilities.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Strong IT and specifically software development background.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
