[Hiring] Electrical Site Supervisor @Hy-Tek

Role Description

• Must be able to resolve electrical-mechanical issues and equipment errors on automated material handling systems.
• Must be able to perform repair and preventive maintenance on systems.
• Responsible for on-site set-up, programming, and customer training.
• Must have experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) troubleshooting, debugging, and programming.
• Usage of technical drawing to diagnose any mechanical and electrical problems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Responsible for on-site training, set-up, and programming.
• Responsible for touching base with customer on completed work.
• Ensure you are touching base with other departments to reach resolution.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from vocational school or college with focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2+ years of experience in the electronics field.
• Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components – photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders.
• Knowledge of PLC programs; ability to troubleshoot ladder logic and modify the PLC program as needed.
• Ability to interpret and modify mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of safe industrial work practices.

Requirements

• This is a 100% traveling position.
• Some weekend/night work required as needed.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Occasional climbing on steps, scaffolding and/or mezzanines.
• Sitting in and/or driving a vehicle for a long period of time.
• Working with computers for a long period of time.
• Working in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.
• Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended DBA levels.
