[Hiring] Electrical Commissioning Engineer @Fluidstack

Role Description

We are looking for a candidate to join our Commissioning Team, focusing on the following key responsibilities:

• Commission electrical distribution from utility interface to rack: switchgear, UPS, generators, and EPMS from Level 2 through Level 5.
• Write and run test scripts covering protection, transfer schemes, and failure scenarios at full load.
• Oversee NETA testing and vendor startups, verifying results rather than filing them.
• Run integrated systems tests proving the site rides through utility events the way the design says it will.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning electrical systems on mission critical facilities through pull-the-plug testing.
• Ability to read one-lines, protection studies, and coordination curves, and catch errors in them.
• Experience running load bank testing at megawatt scale.
• Ability to hold vendors to test standards under schedule pressure.

Requirements

• Bonus: Experience with MV and HV systems, EPMS platforms, protective relay testing.
• PE license is a plus.

Benefits

• We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
• Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
