Role Description

In this role, you will contribute to the planning and design of electric distribution infrastructure while building a strong technical foundation and growing your career in a supportive, team-driven environment—with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on how power is delivered across our communities.

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for electric distribution infrastructure including overhead and underground systems.
• Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates for grid resiliency and energy transition projects.
• Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for optimizing energy delivery.
• Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of electric distribution systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• No experience required; however, prior internships and/or relevant coursework is preferred.
• Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team.
• Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus.
